The Southeast Conference cross country meet is set for Washington today, as they make a trip to Mount Pleasant.

The Demon boys have been neck and neck with other conference schools all year and Evan Horak could compete for an individual title. Head Coach Stefanie Haworth tells KCII Sports there is one goal in mind. “Like we saw in our home meet it is anybody’s race. We had three teams within one point of each other. We haven’t won conference on the boys’ side since 1997 and I know that is what they are eyeing for. They all are pumping each other up and it is exciting.” Haworth noted the girls are just now getting healthy and expect them to be at full strength tonight.

The first race gets underway at 4 p.m. tonight at Mount Pleasant High School.
