The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team was eliminated from the 2019 regional tournament in Wednesday’s first round, falling to the No. 2 ranked West Liberty Comets on the road in straight sets. The Comets took the match by scores of 25-11, 25-14 and 25-8. In the match, Mid-Prairie was led by Tori Boyse and Myah Lugar each with three kills, Landry Pacha with six assists and Cassidy Hershberger with 10 digs. The Golden Hawks end the season with a 6-22 overall record and lose four seniors to graduation.
