Coats are needed as temperatures drop below freezing and the first snow of the season has fallen. Efforts to warm up Washington by providing cold-weather gear are underway. The Washington Public Library, Farm Bureau Financial Services Ann C. Williams Agency, and Washington YMCA partnered to collect coats. If you need a winter coat or know someone who does, visit the library and pick out a free coat. Sizes from baby to adult are available. There are also mittens and hats for pick up. Items will be available through November 12 or as long as supplies last.
