Students in the Washington District will have nearly a week off from classes for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. An early dismissal will be at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, followed by no classes on Thursday, Friday, or Monday. Many offices and businesses will be closed Thursday, and some will also have doors shut on Friday. Downtown Washington will be busy Saturday with Breakfast with Santa, Small Business Saturday, the live radio play at 5 p.m., Santa visiting, and the annual Holiday Lighted Parade.
