Keota residents attended the most recent meeting of the Keota city council to talk about a vicious dog issue in the city. Brandon and Danielle Imhoff reported an incident to council involving their dog from October 24th. Their dog was attacked in its own yard, resulting in bite injuries to the abdomen, extensive bruising and an emergency trip to a local vet. The dog that is implicated in this attack was the subject of another attack in April of 2019. At that time, the owners were to remove their dog from the city limits and had not done so. Councilman Matt Greiner stated that he will talk with the owner of the attacking dog and follow up to see it’s current location and find out what the plan is for the animal.
