Thanksgiving will be observed Thursday and many area businesses and offices will be closed. All banks will be closed Thursday, as well as post offices. Also, mail will not be delivered. The Washington City Hall and Washington County offices will be closed both Thursday and Friday this week.

Downtown Washington will be bustling with traffic Saturday for breakfast with Santa, the Jingle Bell Run, Small Business Saturday, Santa visiting, the live radio play, and the 25th annual lighted holiday parade.
