The public surveys have been completed regarding public opinion for needed work on Kalona’s sidewalks. The questionnaire was available on the city’s website and in hard copy form at buildings throughout town through the first two weeks of November. More than 100 digital surveys were completed with hard copies still to be gathered. City officials are looking to hold a work session around the first of the year to review the information and begin the budgeting process for repairs.
