jingle-bell-run-2

Lace up your running shoes and hit the square Saturday for fun with the Jingle Bell Run 5K run and one-mile walk. Cost of admission is $25 plus one canned good to be donated to HACAP. Event organizer Steve Roth talked about the event’s history, themes and supporting community organizations. “Money this year goes towards PAWS and More, the holiday parade, the Tour of Homes and the lights on the square. It’s a fun run, but it is timed. We try to make it relaxed. My favorite part are there costumes. It’s a fun run, you are encouraged to wear a costume, bring your dog, dress them up in a costume. We have had some great ones the last few years.”

Sign up before 8 a.m. the day of the race at the Washington Y on the square.
