A body of a Mt. Pleasant man was found in a rural field. According to the Henry County Communications Office, the body was identified as 55-year-old Paul Robert Burden. At 7:30 a.m. Monday the sheriff’s office responded to the intersection of 190th Street and Oasis Avenue, southwest of Mt. Union, for a vehicle in a ditch. While investigating, the deceased body of Burden was found in an adjacent field. The body was transported for autopsy. The incident remains under investigation. Henry County Ambulance and the medical examiner investigator of Henry County assisted at the scene.
