The Iowa High School Wrestling season commences this week with the first meets of the year.

Washington starts up their season on Tuesday at HLV. KCII will broadcast four conference matches throughout the year for the Demons. Mid-Prairie also hits the mat on Tuesday at Eddyville-Blakesburg, Columbus Community/Winfield-Mt. Union will host Mount Pleasant, and WACO hosts a quadrangular. Highland will compete on Thursday in an area battle at Mid-Prairie.
