Multi-sport stand out Luke Turner of Washington has declared where he will take his talents next year, as the senior recently signed to play baseball at Truman State University.
The Bulldogs are a Division II School located in Kirksville, Missouri and are apart of the Great Valley Lakes Conference. Turner tells KCII Sports a lot went into his decision to become a Bulldog. “First and foremost academically they are held in high regards in the business field. From a baseball standpoint, I really like the coaching staff and the players were welcoming when I talked to them so I think it will be a great fit.” In addition to baseball, the senior starred in football, basketball, and track at Washington. This past summer he led the team with a .406 batting average and 38 runs batted in.
Turner plans to major in business administration with a concentration in accounting or marketing.
