As excitement builds for the next Star Wars film to come to theaters, the Washington Public Library is hosting a Star Wars Extravaganza. The library will have party and then show The Last Jedi. Librarian Jenisa Harris says the event will start with activities from 9-10 a.m. including themed snacks, a photo booth, a costume contest, face painting, and a special guest, “And this is a really exciting thing, we have a stormtrooper coming from the 501st Legion, so you get a chance to get a picture with him. So it’s going to be really, really cool; he’s a nice stormtrooper, he likes the library and the librarians so you don’t have to be scared. It’s going to be really cool.” Once that wraps up, The Last Jedi will be shown on the library’s big screen. The event is free and open to the public starting at 9 a.m. this Saturday, December 14th.
The final battle will take place in the new movie Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker as it hits theaters December 19th.
