The 2019 Candlelight Tour of Homes in Washington saw an increase in attendance. More than 550 people visited the tour’s five decorated homes and one business, that’s more than double the attendance seen in recent years. Washington Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator Alisha Davis explains what the proceeds are used for, “All the proceeds from this go toward the lights downtown, so the lights around the square, which we have extended those lights this year outside of just the perimeter of the square but even out further, so that’s going to be something neat to look for this year.” Plans are underway for next year’s tour, which will feature rural homes.
