The Highland and WACO wrestling teams traveled to Louisa-Muscatine on Thursday night for a triangular meet.

The Huskies beat the Warriors 54-30 winning four of seven contested matches and L&M 42-39 being on top in two of five matches. Logan Bonebrake led the team with a pair of pins at 132 lbs in a combined 5:56. Also victorious on the night included Carlos Valenzuela at 120 lbs, Kolton Miller at 160 lbs, Cael Yeggy at 182 lbs, and Justin Sosa at 220 lbs.

WACO managed the split by edging the Falcons 31-29 by winning three of five contested matches. Jaden Williams won both matches at 160lbs and 170 lbs by a 10-8 decision and fall in 31 seconds. Other winners included Jalen Collins at 126 lbs, Jonah Clark at 145 lbs, Robert Frazer at 152 lbs, and Landan Provino at 220 lbs.
