Andrew Yang is seeking the Democratic nomination for President and he will be meeting with potential caucus-goers in Washington. Yang sold his education company eight years ago and founded the non-profit Venture for America which works to help entrepreneurs create jobs. Yang cites job automation as a key issue in deciding to run for office and has proposed the Freedom Dividend. That would give $1,000 per month to every adult American and he proposes it’d be paid for by a tax on companies benefiting from automation.

The event will be Sunday at Cafe Dodici. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and the event is scheduled to run 2-3 p.m.
