hiv-tests

Free HIV and Hepatitis C testing is coming to Washington. The Washington County Public Health Department is partnering with Johnson County to provide the service to the community. Washington County Public Health Administrator Danielle Pettit-Majewski explains that Johnson County Public Health is providing the service at the local office and people can make appointments but they aren’t required, “You can call Johnson County Public Health to make an appointment, they’re the ones actually providing the service, or we can also take walk-ins.” The clinics will be held quarterly with the first one on Friday, January 10th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The testing is confidential. Other clinic dates in 2020 include April 10th, July 10th, and October 9th. Walk-ins are welcome.
