A resolution to address disorderly houses and management of the city’s outdoor pool are on the agenda for the Washington City Council. Both items were tabled at the last meeting. The disorderly house provision will be the second reading of the ordinance that would address public peace. The proposed changes would help enforce city code at properties were officers are frequently called due to disruptions to the peace and would hold landlords accountable for problem tenants. It also sets a notification process for landlords to be informed of problems at their properties.

The proposed pool management agreement would be to continue to have the YMCA manage the staff and operations of the outdoor pool, as they’ve done since 2014. The plan includes the operations of the pool this summer. The item was tabled in December with a directive to staff to draft a one-year option from the three-year proposal.

The meeting will be held at the Washington Fire Station at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
