For the third consecutive year, the WACO Community School District held a J-term where students were given more power to build unique educational experiences. Principal Tim Bartels says students took a career area interest survey and were paired up in groups based on similar preferences. Students then worked alongside a teacher to come up with questions they wanted answered about their interest. This year the list of different J-term project categories was extensive including animal science, fashion and beauty, technology, marketing, and more. The students will present their projects to the community on Friday, January 10th at WACO High School starting at 4:30.
