If there is a situation regarding eminent domain a county-appointed commission meets to review the issue and decide on a solution, that commission needs more volunteers. The Washington County Board of Supervisors is accepting recommendations for consideration. There are four subcategories on the commission: license real estate salespersons and brokers; owner-operators of agriculture property; city or town property owners; and bankers, auctioneers, property managers, and property appraisers. By Iowa Code, there must be at least seven individuals in each category.
