The Washington bowling teams were back in action on Thursday at Iris Bowling Center in Mount Pleasant.

The Demon girls had an exciting finish edging out the Panthers 1,986 pins to 1,947. Taylor Janecek led the way with a two-game score of 279 and Taylor Northup had 262. Other top scores included Dawsen Schluetter 250, Rylie Swart 248, and Leigha Heisdorffer 222. Baker scores included 154, 120, 135, 168, and 148.

The boys lost to Mount Pleasant 2,452 to 1,841. Ethan Zieglowsky led the way once again with a 439 score, Drake Schluetter had 341, Liam Eldridge 244, Aidan Miller 179, and Zakkary Hesseltine 16. Baker scores were 144, 149, 101, 116, and 112.

The Demons hit the lanes again Tuesday in Keokuk.
