For the first time a part of the Southeast Conference, the Burlington wrestling team invaded Washington on Thursday and came out on top in a single dual 54-24.

There were only five contested matches on the night with Washington winning two of them. Matt Collett got a pin in 3:14 at 120 lbs and Ayden Frazer got the fall in 1:18 at 170 lbs. Jack Kleese at 106 lbs and Brayden Hartman at 285 lbs recorded wins by forfeit.

The Demons drop their dual record to 8-8 and they return to the mat today at Louisa-Muscatine for a tournament.
