sigourney-3

When a single player outscores their opponent by double-digits it is safe to say they had a night to remember. That was the case for Sigourney’s Megan Stuhr, as her 41 points helped the Savages rout Colfax-Mingo on Monday night 59-29.

The senior guard was in the zone connecting on 16 of 26 shots from the floor including eight of 14 from behind the arc. She helped the Savages jump out to a 32-18 lead at half and they stretched it out to 52-24 at the end of three. Stuhr is averaging 20.2 points per game this season. Kaylee Weber chipped in with seven points and eight rebounds.

The Savages turned around and defeated English Valleys 43-39 in a tight one last night. They are now 11-3 and get back on the hardwood Friday at Iowa Valley.
