It’s an all-KCII area showdown Tuesday night in Kalona when the Hillcrest Ravens host the Columbus Wildcats on their senior night. The Hillcrest girls enter play with an overall mark of 1-17 after a 68-28 loss to Highland on the road Monday. Yani Gutierrez led the Raven attack with a double double 14 points and 10 rebounds. On the season the Ravens are led by Gutierrez at 10 points per game. She is also the team leader with 26 assists and 105 rebounds.

Columbus comes into the game with a mark of 1-17. In their last game they were beaten by WACO Friday 56-32 with Lizbeth Paz scoring 13. On the season the Wildcats are led by Paz at five points per game. She is also the team leader with 11 assists. Olivia Carrier is best on the glass with 113 boards. These two teams met in January with the Wildcats scoring a 32-26 win in CJ behind six points from Jobie Lekwa.

The Hillcrest boys come into the game at 8-8 after a 49-44 loss to Highland on Monday. Kobe Borntrager led the way with 21 points. On the year the Ravens are led by Eli Ours at 18 points per game. He’s also the team assist leader with 61. On the glass it’s Borntrager with a team best 105 boards.

Columbus comes into the game with an overall record of 1-16. They were beaten by Highland Thursday 60-33, with Eric Valdez scoring 18. On the season Valdez leads the Wildcats at 20 points per game. He is also the team leader with 40 assists. Mason Hodges is best on the glass with 102 boards. These two teams met in January with Hillcrest taking a 57-52 road win on 21 points from Kobe Borntrager.
