Three Sigourney-Keota wrestlers claimed conference titles on Saturday in the South Iowa Cedar League Tournament in Belle Plaine.

Mason Dye had a quick day winning both of his matches by fall at 126 lbs in a combined 56 seconds. Jack Clarahan bested his two opponents at 152 lbs by a 16-6 major and 3-1 decision victory in the finals. Nate Schuster was the final Cobra champ at 160 lbs with a pair of pins in a combined 1:39. Third place finishes included DJ Hammes at 113 lbs, Evan Dawson at 132 lbs, Cade Streigle at 182 lbs, and Gavin Bird at 220 lbs. The Cobras finished fourth as a team out of 10 with 146 points while the host Plainsmen won it all with 175.5.

It’s win or go home time, as Sigourney-Keota gears up for sectionals on Saturday at Mediapolis.
