The Iowa Democratic Party began releasing Monday’s caucus results Tuesday afternoon. At approximately 4:15 p.m. 62% of the precincts were reported. Those results have Pete Buttigieg with 362.637 state delegate equivalents, Bernie Sanders with 337.887 delegates, Elizabeth Warren with 246.18 delegates, followed by Joe Biden with 210.344, Amy Klobuchar with 169.694, Andrew Yang with 14.273, Tom Steyer with 3.761, and Mike Bloomberg with 0.133. The total number of National Convention Delegates will not be announced until all of the precincts have been reported.
Local precinct chairs told KCII News that in Washington County delegates were allotted to five candidates with Sanders with 21, Warren with 15, Buttigieg at 13, Klobuchar at 12, and Biden with 8. KCII News will bring you more information as it becomes official.
