Kalona’s C Avenue has improvements both above and below ground. The Kalona City Council Monday approved the final payment of $13,766.55 for the C Avenue Project between 5th Street and 6th Street. The city made improvements to C Avenue’s water main, storm sewer, and aesthetic changes to the library’s sidewalk. Crews also did some sidewalk replacement to the corners of 5th and 6th Street to C Avenue to make it ADA accessible.
