Entering the third day following the initial Iowa caucus Monday, the process of counting votes and releasing results continues to be slow and incomplete. Overnight Wednesday into Thursday, another 5% of precinct totals were released. The Iowa Democratic Party now has 1711 of 1765 precincts reported. With 97% of precincts tallied, Pete Buttigieg is still in the lead with 550.339 state equivalent delegates, Bernie Sanders with 546.912, Elizabeth Warren with 381.258, Joe Biden in fourth place with 331.351, Amy Klobuchar with 255.216, Andrew Yang with 21.643, and Tom Steyer at 6.672. Both Mike Bloomberg and Tulsi Gabbard are at less than one.
The National Convention Delegates will not be available from the Party until all precinct results are announced.
