The Hillcrest Academy Ravens travel to Danville Tuesday to meet the Bears. The Raven girls come into the game with an overall record of 2-18. Last game they were beaten by Pekin 50-26. Esther Hughes led the way with 10 points. On the season the Ravens are paced by Yani Gutierrez at 10.7 points per game. She is also the team leader with 31 assists and 136 rebounds.

Danville comes into the game with an overall record of 7-13. Last time out for the Bears they lost at Central Lee 48-40. Isabella Smith had 17 points. On the season, Danville is led by Smith at 14 points per game. Ava Smith is the team leader with 66 assists, 44 steals and 156 rebounds.

The Hillcrest boys come into play 9-9 for the season after a 56-48 loss at New London during the Southeast Iowa Superconference Shoot Out on Friday. In the game, Eli Ours had 19 points and Kobe Borntrager 14. On the season, Ours leads the Ravens with 18 points per game, 67 assists and 48 steals. Borntrager is best on the glass with 113 boards.

Danville enters play with an overall record of 10-10. The Bears were beaten in the Superconference Shoot Out at home by Wapello 61-52 despite 19 points from Ty Carr and 15 from Taylor Kennsett. On the season the Bears are led by Kennsett at 19 points per game. He’s the team leader with 151 rebounds. Carr leads the Bears with 79 assists and 49 steals. These two teams met twice a year ago with Hillcrest winning in Kalona 58-52 and Danville winning at Highland in a neutral site game 64-63.
