Updates to the campground policy were adopted at the latest Washington County Conservation Board meeting. The new policy puts a limit to the amount of days a camper can stay in an area at 14 consecutive nights. Campers must then vacate the area by 1 p.m. the following day after said camper’s last registered night of stay. Campers wishing to continue their stay past the 14 nights will have to vacate the park, including their camping unit, for a minimum of three nights. These changes were made in accordance with state law changes and to keep campers from claiming residency on the campgrounds.
