The Columbus Community girls’ basketball season came to a close on Saturday, as the Wildcats fell to Wilton 66-26 in a first round regional game.

The Beavers jumped out to a quick 21-6 advantage after one and 43-13 at the break to put the game out of reach. Wilton’s Kelsey Drake and Lexi Walker combined for 32 of the Beavers’ 66 points.

The Wildcats close the year 1-20 and they say goodbye to seniors Taylor Howell, Daniela Cruz, Ingrid Montero, and Nayeli Martinez.
