Citizens in Louisa County will be able to voice their opinions about the proposed replacement of the Iowa 78 bridge over Honey Creek. The Iowa Department of Transportation announced  the project will see the replacement of the current steel beam bridge with a new reinforced concrete box culvert. This would be 1.8 miles west of Highway 61, near Morning Sun. Construction looks to take place next year, with detours taking place for the majority of the construction. Any citizen is welcome to add their input on the matter.
