A Southeast Conference Championship meant a lot of representation on the All Conference Basketball teams, as the league recently recognized six Washington boys.

That number was the most for any team in the conference and the Demons were headlined by two first team selections. Kasen Bailey was a unanimous choice, despite missing the last few weeks of the season due to injury. The sophomore finished third in the league with 13.4 points per game and made 42% of his shots from long range. Turner was the general on the floor leading the league with 106 assists on the season and managed eight points a night. Trashaun Willis and Ethan Patterson were named to the second team. The 6’7’’ Willis could work inside and out tallying 9.3 points a contest and he was dangerous from deep hitting 44% of his three attempts. The junior was also second on the team in rebounds with 111 and had 26 steals. Patterson finished his freshman campaign with a team-high 213 points including 10.1 per game and recorded 32 assists. Seniors Brock Sobaski and Trevor Quigley rounded out the selections being recognized for honorable mention. Sobaski cleaned up a lot of messes down low with 153 rebounds that ranked second in the league. Quigley averaged nine points a game and hauled in 58 boards. Players named to the Academic All Conference list included Quigley, Sobaski, Turner, Caleb Tanner, and Rasmus Lund.

Washington finished with a 9-1 mark in conference and captured their first league title in 13 years.
