Postseason accolades poured in for five Washington girls’ basketball players recently, as they were named to the All Conference teams for the Southeast Conference.

Anna Nacos headlined the Demons with a first team selection. The junior was money in the fourth quarter throughout the season and finished third in the league in scoring with 11.8 points per game. She shot 34.7% from long range and also got it done at the other end creating a team-high 37 steals. The twin towers of Addison Six and Olivia Pacha both received second team honors. Six was the shot blocking extraordinaire finishing with a conference best 34 and tallied 7.7 points a night. Pacha cleaned up messes down low hauling in 128 boards including a league-leading 58 on the offensive end. Kinsey Duwa and Halle Leyden were recognized as honorable mention. The 5’5’’ Duwa was a scrappy player that did a little bit of everything including leading the squad in assists with 33, brought in 100 rebounds, and forced 36 steals. Leyden was a steady force defensively with 31 steals and also dished out 28 assists while recording 5.1 points a contest.

Washington finished the campaign with a 12-10 record.
