The University of Iowa Mobile Clinic will be rolling into Columbus Junction yet again on Saturday. Health Science students from the University visit neighboring towns and provide various health check ups including: blood pressure checks, blood sugar and cholesterol checks, wellness and sports physicals, and more. Mobile Clinic Coordinator Caleb Frederickson says the clinic has been a success for students and the community, “It’s been great. The community has been incredibly receptive, and thankful, and receptive for the services we provide. We’ve been thanked about it many times and it’s really good for us to see that what we do is actually doing some good for the people of Columbus Junction.” free flu shots will be available. Spanish interpreters will also be at the event. The event will take place on March 15th from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church of St. Joseph in Columbus Junction.
