The Washington County Conservation Board will hold their monthly meeting and discuss wedding rentals, the Crawford Pond lease agreement, and more. The board recently agreed to move forward with plans to renew the lease agreement with the Crawford family, which owns the pond. The board also has brought up preliminary ideas to create wedding rentals at minimal prices for their open shelters. According to Center Coordinator Randi Brase, more and more weddings have been booked at Marr Park. The board would look to set up liability contracts for the shelters while providing individuals with a cheaper site alternative for hosting a wedding. The board will meet at the Marr Park Conservation Education Center starting at 4:30 p.m.
