Five KCII area boys’ basketball players were recently named to a Class 1A Sub-State team.

Keota’s JD Stout was named to the Sub-State 5 team. Individuals from Sub-State 4 that were recognized included WACO’s Nik Coble, Lone Tree’s Keegan Edwards, Highland’s Zach Lasek, and Hillcrest Academy’s Eli Ours.  Stout led class 1A with 29.1 points a night; Coble ranked first in the SEISC with 13.3 rebounds; Edwards tallied 21-8-6 in points, rebounds, and assists; Lasek brought in 10.3 boards to lead the north division; and Ours averaged 18 points while shooting 35% from long range.

Eight players from each sub-state were selected to the team.
