Washington County Public Health Director Danielle Pettit-Majewski recommends daily movement indoors and outdoors, “Go out on the bike trail, go for a walk. You know, make sure you’re still having some movement and trying to get at least some sunshine because this can be hard on our mindsets and cause undue stress. So just trying to find some fun ways to distract yourself, distract your kiddos, and make sure you remain active.” She also recommends reading books you haven’t had the time to dive into, checking online platforms for virtual learning, and communicating with loved ones by phone or video calls.
