A former Keota Eagle was recently honored with an award from the Simpson College history department. The Joe Walt Senior in History Award was given to two individuals this year, one of them being Keota alumna Abby Schulte. This award is the highest honor given to the top seniors of the history department who demonstrate curiosity, commitment, rigor, and enthusiasm for the study of history. Schulte is a 2016 graduate of Keota High School.
