A kitchen caught fire in an Oxford home early Tuesday morning. At 3:42 a.m. the Kalona Fire Department was dispatched to Blackhawk Avenue in Oxford for a kitchen fire within a house. Kalona Fire Chief Jerry Zahradnek says the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but the fire did not spread beyond the kitchen. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
