Health workers are receiving 600 meals courtesy of TrueNorth and some of those were delivered in Washington. The insurance company partnered with Thrive Restaurant Group to deliver 600 take-and-bake meals from Carlos O’Kelly’s to workers at healthcare facilities throughout eastern Iowa. The effort was to provide a meal packaged for a family of four as these workers are on the frontlines of caring for those with COVID-19. Some of those meals were given to employees at Washington County Hospital and Clinics and WCHC Beans Pharmacy. TrueNorth colleagues raised $12,000 to fund the efforts, three times their original goal.
