A virtual graduation is being held graduating Kirkwood Community College students this Saturday. The traditional in-person commencement was cancelled due to COVID-19. Starting at 10 a.m. Kirkwood Community College will hold an online ceremony with the help of a company called MarchingOrder. The ceremony will include remarks from college administration, faculty, and a student speaker. Also, individualized profiles will recognize each graduate.
Kirkwood President Lori Sundberg says the event provides graduates and their loved ones a way to celebrate achievements. More than 400 students of the 1,895 graduates are expected to take part in the event. To view the ceremony Saturday visit www.kirkwood.edu.
