The body of a missing Keota man was located outside of Libertyville Thursday. According to the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, 39-year-old Brian Patrick Cave was last seen in the area of Libertyville in Jefferson County on Monday afternoon. Cave had been reported missing by family members and stated he may be in need of medical attention. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office asked the public for assistance Thursday afternoon in locating Cave, and by 4:30 p.m. his body had been found.

The authorities thanked the public response and those involved in the search.

Manner of death was not released. KCII News will bring more information as it becomes official.
