A Washington man faces charges of indecent contact with a child. According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 2 p.m. Friday officers were out with a wanted man in the 100 block of West Washington Street in downtown Washington. Officers arrested 22-year-old Ernest Lee Shaw on a Washington County warrant for two counts of indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor; and one count of lascivious conduct with a minor, a felony.

Bond was set at $5,000. He was taken to the Washington County Jail. The initial incident was reported to local officers on May 19th.
