Live sports broadcasts are returning to KCII next week with the start of high school baseball and softball games. KCII will be covering the baseball and softball games of Washington High School, Mid-Prairie High School, and Hillcrest Academy. KCII Sports Director Cole Cook says he is excited for games and so are the teams, “Pretty much the common theme I’ve heard when I’ve talked to athletic directors and a few coaches, is they’re just excited. Obviously, it’s going to look different this year from a fact that it’s going to be a shortened season. We’re looking at just a month of the regular season. But when you’re talking about a couple of weeks ago, before that we weren’t sure if we were going to have this season. They’re going to take anything. And I think we’re going to see a really good product on the field this year because no one is going to take the season for granted.”
