A pedestrian was struck by a juvenile’s vehicle Wednesday afternoon near Keota. At 4:44 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a flagger, also known as a traffic guard, struck by a vehicle near 190th Street and Birch Avenue. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Chief Deputy Shawn Ellingson confirms to KCII News the juvenile was driving with a parent during the time of the incident. No charges have been filed against the driver. Names of the individuals have not been released.
