The 2020 Keokuk County Fair will still be held this summer with limitations in place due to COVID-19. Keokuk County Fair Board member Dixie Shipley says activities such as harness racing, figure-eight races, kids’ games, and most of the usual activities will still be held but with modifications. These modifications have not yet been announced by the county fair board. Shipley believes if some of these events do not occur, the fair might lose some of their audience. Fairgoers will be encouraged to use caution and maintain social distancing. The Keokuk County Fair will take place July 10-12 in What Cheer.
