Crooked Creek Christian Camp has found its new program director amid their campless summer. This announcement comes with the departure of former program director, Megan Miller, as she will begin classes at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary in the fall. Taking her position is Saralyn Oyer of Orrville, Ohio. Oyer has attended and worked at various camps in the past including Camp Luz in Kidron, Ohio where her father was the camp director. She says she was drawn to Crooked Creek Christian Camp due to her love of camping and summer camps growing up and the itch to return to what she enjoys most. Oyer recently completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Hesston College and has been working at a local hospital. The camp recently cancelled their 2020 summer camp due to COVID-19. In its place, the camp is hosting various events such as their socially distant camp getaway June 26-28 and July 1-3.
