The KCII Radio staff received multiple awards from the Iowa Broadcast News Association Saturday. At the annual statewide news conference, KCII Program Director Zach Ulin received an award in sports play-by-play. Ulin and Sports Director Cole Cook were also presented an award for best sportscast. KCII News Director Sally Hart received first place in two categories – news feature and best actuality for use of sound in a story. Hart was also presented awards in farm and agribusiness news, public affairs, in-depth series, and political coverage. The annual conference was held at the Pella Opera House.
