While the COVID-19 pandemic has cancelled some area Fourth of July celebrations this year, area cities are still planning to hold fireworks shows this weekend. The cities of Mt. Pleasant, Richmond, Morning Sun, Wayland, and Washington will continue with their fireworks displays, but not hold other social events. Individuals are asked to maintain proper social distancing if they choose to view the fireworks in a public space. Washington: Washington County Fairgrounds at dusk

 

Mt. Pleasant: McMillian Park at 9:15 p.m.

 

Richmond: Richmond Park  6-10:30 p.m., food trucks will be present at the event

 

Morning Sun: Morning Sun Community School/Grove Park at dusk

 

Wayland: WACO High School at 9:15 p.m.
