The subdivision on the former Whitesell property, a half-marathon, a voluntary annexation, and business park improvements on West Buchanan will be discussed at the next Washington City Council meeting. The estimate of cost and plans for the NLW subdivision set to create houses on the field west of the former Whitesell factory will be presented and considered.

There will be special presentations about the annual Kewash Half-Marathon that had to be postponed from April due to COVID-19, as well as the Movies on Main program through Main Street Washington, and a dinner in the park request from the Chamber of Commerce.

A public hearing and consideration of a voluntary annexation is also on the agenda.

The council is set to meet Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the fire department and it will also be accessible online for those wanting to watch remotely.
